Luna & Sol’s Corgi Litter
Farm-Raised Pembroke Welsh Corgi Puppies
We are excited to announce that Luna and Sol have welcomed a beautiful litter of 8 healthy Corgi puppies to Ironwood Homestead Co. The puppies are ready for rehoming June 20th and thereafter. Luna and Sol are both healthy, registered purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgis with wonderful temperaments, intelligence, and affectionate personalities. Their puppies are being raised in our hands-on homestead environment with daily care, handling, and socialization.
Our goal is to thoughtfully raise well-adjusted companions while allowing our animals to live in harmony with their natural instincts and homestead environment.
At Ironwood Homestead Co., we believe animals deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion — not simply molded for appearance or tradition. One of the choices we’ve made here on our homestead is that we do not dock the tails of our corgis.
For us, this comes down to a very simple principle: if there is no medical reason to remove a part of an animal’s body, we believe it should remain untouched. Corgis themselves are a European breed, and many European countries have moved toward stronger animal welfare protections over the years — including banning cosmetic tail docking except in rare medical circumstances. In many places where corgis originally came from, preserving the dog as it naturally is has become the standard rather than the exception.
Here at Ironwood Homestead Co., we align closely with that perspective.
Additional photos and personality updates will be shared as the puppies grow.
